"Maybe she's born with it"

I recently bought this Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Peachy Scene and I absolutely love it! It is the only lipstick I carry and it is in my purse at all times. This shade of lipstick looks somewhat natural but with a hint of pink which is awesome because I'm all for a pop of color ;D It leaves my lips full of color and keeps it moisturized for hours. If you're not a huge pink fan, Maybelline Color Sensational also comes in neutral, red and plum shades that vary for each type of skin tone. You can always find it at any drugstore like Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, etc. I highly recommend it!(:

Plum-tastic!

I'm a young girl with an Olive skin tone who absolutely loves plum lips. Not knowing which shade best fit my skin color, I went to Twitter and asked a few of my followers what their suggestions are. I got a few responses but were all amazing! There are definitely some shades and brands that I have not thought of trying but with their input, I am now considering it! Thank you to my followers who suggested MAC lipsticks, deep plum/maroon shades and Trendy Mauve by Lancome(:

Because it's summer, Color Block has been a huge trend in fashion, shoes and as you can see, nails! This trend has been pretty popular during this hot season. On Sophie's blog, she shows step by step visuals of exactly how she made this block-like design look fabulous. While going through my dashboard on tumblr, I stumbled upon this well taken picture. It's not exactly outrageous but what caught my eye was the color of this girls lipstick. It's such a bright and unnatural color that it really pops and stands out from her skin tone.
